2022 BMW R18 Transcontinental Specs

A 6-speed transmission and air/oil-cooled twin-cylinder four-stroke boxer engine with two chain-driven camshafts above the crankshaft powers the 2022 BMW R18 Transcontinental. The Big Boxer generates 116 lb-ft of torque at 3,000 rpm and 91 horsepower at 4,750 rpm. It offers a single-disc rear brake and twin-disc front brake that provides confident authority during sudden stops. In addition, the motorcycle features Dynamic Cruise Control and optional Active Cruise Control, which independently control its speed and distance to the vehicle ahead. It also offers three Ride Modes: Rock, Roll, and Rain, for an aggressive torque curve and to cruise brilliantly. The touring bike enhances control with dynamic engine brake control and Automatic Stability Control. It has a Power Reserve to show how much power you have available.
