The engine also comes with variable valve timing and valve stroke ShiftCam technology that increases top-end power and torque in the low- to mid-range. Its shorter secondary gear ratio increases rear wheel traction in all gears. In addition, the bike offers standard Dynamic Traction Control and four ride modes, including Rain, Road, Dynamic, and Race. It also provides optional “Pro” race modes to improve capabilities. A new Slide Control function and Brake Slide Assist use a steering angle sensor for drifts while accelerating.
